       How fast are the months flashing by, it's August already, the river severn around Shrewsbury has been producing a fair few superb Barbel and Bream but could with a flush of water at the minute, (I'm sure the typical british weather will help it out soon). Hope your fishing is going well and you're all catching plenty. There's so much happening in the fishing world right now so we'll try and keep you all up to date.

      We have now finally got the Angling Intelligence Floating Recovery Slings back into stock, we have taken many orders for these so we have made sure we've got plenty to accommodate.

       Avid Carp products have started filtering on to the shelves and we have got the Corn and Sight Stops in various colours. These little toppers really add another safe dimension to bait presentation and are proving to be extremely popular. Avid is very forward thinking in it's products and it's the little extra's in design details that is going to make this company a major player in the Carp World.

       P.B. Products are now with us with such items as the superb Jelly Wire hooklink material which i'm sure everyone has heard of by now, we have also brought in their new Control mainline with a breaking strain of 18lb but with a diameter of only 0.30mm this line has taken a huge step forward in mono development.

        We have the MAP Meat Cutters and spare blades in our Match/Coarse Accessories section, these are proving to be extemely popular as the cutters are blades as opposed to the traditional wires on other  meat cutters. The cutter syatems are available in 6mm and 8mm, and the spare blades are available in 4mm, 6mm, 8mm and 10mm.

         Total angling have now become a retailer for one of the biggest Carp Tackle manufacturer's from europe, "Starbaits". I'm sure you've heard of, or are already using this brand as it is hugely popular on the continent and they are breaking into the UK market as we all want excellent value for money but also need the products to be built to last, which is something Starbaits do extremely well and pride themselves on. we will be increasing our range continually so take a look on the site, i'm sure you'll like what you see. (The rod holdalls are superb!)

        We have spoken to Daiwa who have informed us that some of the "Windcast Z" reels are now due into stock with them by mid August so may not be with retailers until late August!! Daiwa are really proud of this product and are flattered by your incredible response to it but are struggling to keep up with demand so are Air-Freighting stocks into the country and this batch due in July should see their stock levels put right so retailers can finally accommodate all their customer requests. These are massively popular reels and will sell out fast so again we have started compiling a waiting list to help avoid disappointment, please feel free to contact us to be added to this ever growing list.

       We now the full range of the new Evo sleeping bags from Fox including the all conquering Evo Ventec Sleeping Bag (Winter will soon be here so you'll need to thinking about a bag very soon), it really does appear that, Country Wide, there is no let-up in demand for this product, we have now got these bags back IN STOCK. It has to be said that the feedback we are getting on this bag is 110% Positive, all our customers who have bought and tested theirs have all come back and said how Warm, Versatile and Well made they are, this bag is setting new standards in it's field.           The river season re-opened (June 16th) and the new permits and day tickets are available for sale in store and run from April 1st to December 31st this year.

          The Salmon Permits are now in store with us ready for you, the permits run 1st Feb 2010 until 31st December 2010, cost of the permits are £30.00 each but that price also includes the Coarse permit.
