Daiwa’s newest Basia is here and better than ever before!

Daiwa’s range of Basia reels have been at the forefront of cutting edge reel innovation and performance. Used by some of the best specimen anglers in the world the legendary Basia QDX & QDA have withstood the test of time, but now have a new addition to the family that boasts a plethora of new, cutting edge, features made using new design technologies and materials.

The Basia SLD QD now comes in a completely black finish that looks extremely stealth like. A strengthened main shaft gives the reel much better durability, whilst its increased line capacity caters for a larger range of angling situations than the previous models.

The SLD QD now also boasts an all new Magsealed Zaion rotor to prevent the reel ‘gritting up’ and gives the internals of this stunning reel a much extended life span, minimising the servicing frequency.

  • Magnesium body
  • AirBail
  • Zaion Magsealed rotor
  • Increased strength main shaft
  • 45mm long cast spool with increased line capacity
